Novaliches, Quezon City, Philippines––Not missing the biggest grace of the year, seven SSP temporary professed members undergoing a year of Intensive Spiritual and Apostolic Formation (ISAF)—Micha Miguel Competente, Sebastian Gadia III, Jose Felix Cortez, Edward Dantis,  Paul Vincent Octubre, Oliver Vergel Par, and Samy John Torrefranca—made their five-day annual retreat at the Sacred Heart Novitiate Retreat and Seminar Center on May 22–26, 2016.

The Ignatian retreat, guided by Ms. Daisy Santos, IMSA, was structured around two important communal hours of prayer—Mass  and Eucharistic Adoration—and hours of personal mediations. The spiritual meditation is a personal time to come away and rest a while with the Lord. In conjunction with the many hours a day spent in prayer, they also got to speak with the retreat guide, one-on-one, as aid in their discernment. Ms. Daisy and Fr. Danny Gozar, SJ facilitated the conversations.

Also as preparation for their third renewal of religious vows on May 29,  the retreat served as an intensified moment of vocational discernment.
