Alberione Hall, Makati City—As part of the celebration of the 100 Years of Pauline Charism, some 80 young members of the Pauline Family here in Asia, together with their formators gathered on November 4, 2013 to begin a two- day coomunication workshop with Professor Seàn-Patrick Lovett and Father Louis Xystus Jerome, S.J. of Radio Vaticana and the Center for Research and Education in Communication (CREC).

The Communications Formation Programme entitled “Face-to-Faith: What is New in Evangelization?” tackled simple and practical topics on Communications. The programme’s most important call to the young Paulines is to become the medium and the message at the same time. Each is called to be a living witness to faith or to be the new face to Faith.

On the other hand, perpetual members of the Pauline Family had their turn on November 7 to 8, 2013. The two-day Media-Management Workshop was attended mostly by those who hold important offices in their respective congregations. They were trained on how to handle controversies and crises in front of media and were updated on the new trends of communication and of the different Vatican Media.

ST PAULS Audio-Visuals also presented a simulated news video coverage to document some of the activities of the workshop.

CREC, specializing in media and communication training and research with international teams of trainers are present in several countries of the world mostly in Europe and Africa, collaborated and successfully conducted the seminar workshop with Radio Vaticana, Propaganda Fide,  Missio and the Major Superiors of the Society of Saint Paul Philippines-Macau; Daughters of Saint Paul Philippines-Malaysia-Papua, N.G. -Thailand; Pious Disciples of Divine Master Philippines-Taiwan-Hongkong; Sisters of the Good Shepherd Philippines-Australia-Saipan.
